At Solid Health & Fitness (Solid HF) we believe that HEALTH is tri-dimensional and consists of
mental, physical and spiritual
growth and fitness. Life
is about balance in many ways
and health is no different.
We also believe that the mind, body and spirit all work together and each affects one another. This means that if your lacking in a certain one, the others will be affected.
To grow PHYSICALLY requires three essentials.
1) A healthy diet
2) Nutritional Supplements
3) Exercise
One must learn to eat high quality nutritious foods and incorporate health supplements into their regular eating habits. Eating high quality, preferably low glycemic balanced meals and adding vitamins, minerals and antioxidants is imperative to achieving optimal health.
We recommend that all people engage in some form of resistive training. The reason for this is because after about 25 yrs of age the human body starts loosing muscle on a regular basis.
The only way to build muscle is through resistance. This counteracts the effects of aging, along with numerous other benefits like reducing the risk of osteoporosis, strengthening bones and giving your body much more efficient metabolism.
Another form of exercise that is extremely effective at promoting physical health is cardiovascular.
To grow MENTALLY we refer to what Jim Rohn calls VITAMINS FOR THE MIND. This simply involves feeding your mind with good, wholesome nutrition in the form of books, seminars, church sermons, the company you keep and more.
The computer was invented based on the human brain. With that said it's easy to understand that what gets programmed into your mind is what it operates on. As Zig Ziglar says...Garbage in, Garbage out; and on a reverse note...Good stuff in, good stuff out.

seeking your creator and
searching for spiritual truth.
I'm a firm believer in that we
are all here by design and not
chance. I encourage you to
get in touch with your spiritual

This involves

In an age where most people are controlled by media, advertising and the influence of the masses,
many seem to avoid thinking about things like why we are in existence and what our purpose in life is.
